Sport Aberdeen is an organisation going places: creating opportunities, inspiring people and changing lives through sport and physical activity. We are on our mission to become the leading innovative sport and leisure trust; striving for excellence in the north east of Scotland helping to make Aberdeen a successful, active and healthy city.

Sport Aberdeen plays a key strategic role in helping to shape and delivery in the city’s health, wellbeing and physical activity agenda. Through the Operational Division, it operates 19 fantastic facilities, including a range of wet and dry leisure centres, golf courses and an ice arena. As we enter our next phase of growth and capital investment, we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic leaders to drive business growth through our venues.

Reporting directly to Operations Managers and supported by Assistant Managers, you will be at the sharp end, responsible for the day to day operational management of our provision. The successful candidates will therefore be committed to delivering the highest standards of customer care, ensuring great building presentation and driving use. We aim to give each customer a great experience on every visit.

A collaborative, flexible approach is essential as is an eye for detail and the ability to manage a team fairly and consistently.

If you have these qualities and attributes, then we’d love to hear from you!

We welcome applications from individuals with the right approach, drive, commitment and enthusiasm.  Previous experience within a leisure environment is not essential. Whilst professional qualifications such as a First Aid at Work, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Pool Plant Operators Certificate and a formal health and safety qualification are desirable they are also not essential.

For further details or for an informal chat on the roles contact Graham McEvoy on 07595877138.
