Cults Academy has an excellent range of extracurricular sports clubs and activities that take place throughout the school year. Active Schools have organised a range of opportunities for P7 pupils to take part in these sports at Cults Academy in June. These are a great opportunity to meet some of the teachers, senior pupils and club coaches who deliver these clubs during the school year. These are also a great chance to meet pupils from other schools who are interested in the same sports as you.

All activities are free of charge and all will take place from 3.45-4.45pm at Cults Academy, to allow pupils from further away schools the chance to make it along. Activities are open to any P7 pupil who will be attending Cults Academy after the summer. No previous experience is required in any of the activities.

Active Girls Club is run by two senior pupils who are part of the Aberdeen Active Girls Committee - they are looking to raise the profile of sport and physical activity for girls and remove some of the barriers for girls participating in sport. The club at Cults Academy is a chance for girls to come along and participate in a friendly and relaxed environment - throughout the last year they have tried out various activities such as yoga, dance, pilates, swimming; while other weeks the girls have done gymnastics, basketball, badminton, dodgeball.
