  • Make sure to complete the ‘Sign In’ and ‘Sign Out’ register each day
  • If you will be dropping off / collecting your child out with these time slots, please arrive at the reception and inform a member of staff, on some days it is possible to pick up children earlier than camp finishing time, however on some days we are away having too much fun and won't be back until 16:00

What happens if my child is ill?

  • During camp – If your child becomes ill during the camp, we will contact you using the details on the camp registration form. Staff will discuss the best solution with you and action
  • Before camp – If your child is sick from a virus within 24hrs of the camp, we kindly ask that they do not attend camp that day. This is to minimise the risk of spreading any viral or flu symptoms to other kids or staff

What happens if there are any behavioural issues?

We want all children attending our camps to have lots of fun! However, we are going to be taking them on adventurous activities so we expect all participants shall behave in a responsible manner and instructions given to participants by Adventure Aberdeen staff must be strictly adhered to at all times.

  1. Verbal warning to the participant
  2. Verbal warning + participant time out (parent/carer informed at the end of the day)
  3. A phone call to the parent to discuss appropriate action

What does a typical camp day look like?

  • Our camp day starts at 9:00 and we will focus on 1 or 2 of the activities depending on the plan of activities. We will have a lunch break during the day.
