Active Schools Aberdeen are excited to announce new Coaching Clinics for our volunteers this year!
These coaching courses are open to volunteer pupils, parents, teachers etc. and will be delivered by some of the local regional development staff and clubs. They are scheduled for some of the upcoming school in-service days.
This Disability Awareness is designed to give participants a overview of how to give an idea of how to get to participants that may need additional support. Also how to adapt practices to ensure everyone is included. Furthermore, inclusive games you can use with everyone.
This half-day course will offer the opportunity to learn fun, simple games for children to help them get involved in Volleyball.
This Coaching Clinic is designed to give participants a overview of how to structure a Netball session, as well as take ideas, drills and practices.
This Coaching Clinic is designed to give participants a overview of how to structure a Rugby session, as well as take ideas, drills and practices.
This First Aid Course designed to give participants a overview of how to give basic First Aid to participants that may be hurt during a session.
Hopefully you will never need to use this!
*Please be aware participants will need to be 16 years old by the start of the course to take part in this course.
Introduction to Sports Coaching
The idea beside this CPD is almost to make it into a mini/Adult “I Can Lead” without going in to as much depth. A Practical session giving content to the aims below:
