Active Schools Volunteering Resources
Thank you for expressing your interest in volunteering with Active Schools
Before volunteers can start in schools there are some mandatory training modules which we ask everyone to complete. In the links below you will find our Active Schools Induction videos or you can request a paper copy of our induction booklet.
Active Schools Volunteer Induction
Active Schools is always on the lookout for keen and enthusiastic volunteers, where together we can take pride in getting more children, more active, more often! Our training videos are here to support you to be the best volunteer you can be while ensuring that each session is safe and fun.
The new Active Schools Volunteer Induction training is now live, and available for volunteers looking to deliver and support extracurricular sport and physical activity.
What to expect from our training?
Our online training programme will take volunteers through what they need to know to deliver safe sessions and cover topics such as volunteering opportunities, volunteering programmes and opportunities, first aid, health and safety, child protection, GDPR and further training.
The videos are available on YouTube. Please click on the links below to view individual videos.
1 – Introduction to Active Schools
