Aberdeen Youth Games

Following on from the biggest and best Aberdeen Youth Games to date, we are happy to announce that it will be back this year! The Aberdeen Youth Games is a citywide initiative in which student coaches deliver activities in schools during the school year, and culminates in the Festival of Health at the Aberdeen Sports Village. The aim of the Aberdeen Youth Games is to establish an innovative, sustainable and integrated citywide sports programme which promotes and increases physical activity. This programme has been developed in partnership between Sport Aberdeen and The Robert Gordon University and NESCOL, specifically building on the continuing work of the Active Schools Team.

The Festival of Health is a one day event based at the Aberdeen Sports Village and includes an array of physical activities which will be taught to your schools in advance by the placement students.
