To ensure that we can welcome you back safely we have implemented stringent cleaning and operating procedures and have set customer protocols specific to each activity so that you know exactly how to safely participate in your favourite sports.
Welcome back to golf, Aberdeen! Our four stunning 18-hole courses and popular 9-hole course have all reopened.
What has changed?
All tee times must be booked and paid for in advance. Before play, all golfers must read and follow the Golf Protocol.
Following the First Minister’s update on 10 September, we would like to reassure customers that Scottish Golf has confirmed that on-course golf activity can continue under current Phase 3 Guidance, with up to four players from four different household allowed to participate together
How do I book a tee time?
All bookings should be made online via MySportAberdeen, or by calling the relevant starter box at the number below.
Please note that all bookings MUST be made in advance and no bookings will be taken in person at starter boxes, in line with return to golf protocols.
Online booking for 8 days ahead will go live at 07:00 each day. Phone booking lines will open at 07:30 each day. All bookings made over the phone must also be paid over the phone at the time of booking. Please also be aware that the starters cannot provide assistance with online booking system queries.
Online Booking Registration Process
When registering with MySportAberdeen for the first time please click on ‘Log In’ and then be sure to follow the correct link to avoid issues with your booking.
If you are a Golf Aberdeen or Get Active 5 member – please click on “I am a Sport Aberdeen/Golf Aberdeen member…but I need to create an online account” and register using the email address linked to your membership, and your membership number. This will allow you 7-day book-ahead privileges.
If you are a pay-and-play customer – please click on “I’m a pay and play customer…and would like to sign up”. This will allow you 3-day book-ahead privileges and will require for you to pay for your round in advance.
MySportAberdeen ‘how to’ user guide
Please take some time to read the user guide to help you make the most of our new MySportAberdeen booking system.
To ensure fair access for golfers during this period of increased demand, we would ask that members please ensure that there is at least a three-hour gap between tee-times booked and that each member seeks to book a maximum of two rounds per day.
Any member who books more than one tee time within a three hour period will be contacted by the Golf Aberdeen team to discuss their bookings.
We would also remind members that memberships are not transferable and that bookings can only be made for tee-times that you are personally attending. Entry to the greens will only be allowed if the person who made the booking is present at the starters box on arrival, as required for track and trace purposes.
We ask that all golfers ensure that they promptly cancel any tee times which they are unable to attend, to allow other golfers to book this time. Tee times can be cancelled either via the starters box or within the ‘My Bookings’ section of the MySportAberdeen online booking system.
If members repeatedly do not arrive for booked tee times, the Golf Aberdeen team will be in touch to discuss next steps.
