The coach of the year is presented to a community, school or club based coach who has made a significant impact on the contribution to the development of individuals in their sport or within the city.

Coaching must be on a voluntary basis with at least one session being delivered in Aberdeen.

  • Delivery of at least one coaching session per week in Aberdeen, including when and where the coaching takes place;

  • Examples of them going beyond the call of duty
  • What impact they have had on the community/club/sport or individuals; and
  • Why you are making this nomination and what do you think winning will mean to your nominee

Inspiration Award

The winning individual will be someone who has shown incredible determination to overcome barriers, setbacks and challenges in achieving their goals.

This may be following a devastating injury or fighting against the odds to take their place in a team. We want to hear your stories of immense achievement and the winner will be an individual with a truly inspiring story.

Club of the Year

The club of the year is presented to a sports clubs that has made a significant impact on or contribution to the development of sport in the community.

The team performance of the year award is presented to a sports team that has made significant progress, achieved or won titles or trophies over the past season whilst demonstrating a commitment to continual training and development.
