Post:  HR Co-ordinator [Payroll]

Duration: Maternity Cover [up to 12 months]

Position: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Salary:  £21k

Location: Sport Aberdeen Head Office, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen

We are currently looking for a HR Co-ordinator [Payroll] to provide a professional and efficient administrative support service to the HR & Organisational Development department, with particular emphasis on payroll administration.

Responsibilities will include:

  • to arrange the payment of staff salaries via the Company's outsourced payroll provider, ADP.   This will involve the collation and input of all relevant information for the monthly payroll [including new starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence payments, family leave, tax form etc];
  • be the first point of contact for payroll queries;
  • ensure that the HR system is updated with changes in a timely manner;
  • prepare standard letters to include changes of terms and conditions of employment, leavers and maternity, paternity and adoption; and
  • manage the Payroll and HR Operations Inbox, answering general queries from stakeholders, completing references and dealing with any other queries that may be received.

The post also demands good attention to detail, a good telephone manner, good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems. Experience using ADP system is beneficial but not essential.
