Relief Ski/Snowboard Instructor

Rate of Pay:

£9.06 - £14.51 per hour [dependant on qualifications and experience]


Sport Aberdeen are looking to attract Relief Ski/Snowboard Instructors to join our fantastic team at Aberdeen Snowsports Centre.

Aberdeen Snowsports Centre is one of Scotland’s leading artificial snowsports facilities comprising of 2 snowflex slopes, one freestyle feature, and 2 dendix slopes. We also have a dedicated dendix tubing slope and both artificial and grass football pitches. We operate all year round and have a customer footfall of approx. 60,000 visitors per year.

Work with a strong team of dedicated and passionate instructors to deliver lessons and coaching in line with the Aberdeen Snowsports learning pathway:

Key duties/responsibilities

  • Deliver quality instruction in a safe and welcoming environment
  • Develop customer knowledge and understanding in line with their goals and learning pathway
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure progress records are completed for customer information
  • Prepare learnings for snowsports at ASC and beyond
  • Attend staff training for continual development

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to motivate others as well as being passionate about snow sports and the outdoors. Our ski/snowboard instructors are required to hold a minimum of BASI Level 1 Qualifications or equivalent and a valid First Aid Qualification.

What is a relief worker?

A relief worker's hours of work will vary according to the needs of the venue. As a relief worker, the Company cannot guarantee work, you will work on a relief basis by mutual agreement, whenever required by the needs of the venue. There is no obligation for Sport Aberdeen to provide you with work and likewise there is no obligation for you to accept any work offered. You will enter into a relief worker agreement.
