Golf in Aberdeen

Play regularly with a Golf Aberdeen membership. Options include 7-day, 5-day and junior memberships, with member tee-time booking available up to eight days ahead.

Members can enjoy playing across our five golf courses, with options for golfers who want regular access throughout the year.

A Golf membership gives access to Sport Aberdeen golf courses and allows members to book tee times through the BRS Golf booking app. Members can book further in advance than visitors and are entitled to play up to two rounds per day across the year.

If you would like access to golf alongside a wider range of Sport Aberdeen activities, Get active membership includes golf as well as other activities such as swimming, fitness, tennis, and more.

Five courses, one city

With three prime locations in Aberdeen, you are never more than a short distance from one of our five golf courses.

• MacKenzie Championship Golf Course – a parkland championship layout at Hazlehead.
• Hazlehead Pines – a woodland course set among the pines.
• Hazlehead 9-Hole – a shorter course for a quick round or a first step into golf.
• Kings Links – a traditional links course beside Aberdeen beach.
• Balnagask – a coastal course with views across the North Sea.

Each course has its own character, challenge, and setting, giving golfers plenty of choice whether they are playing regularly, visiting Aberdeen, or trying a new course.

Whether it’s your annual golf outing, a corporate golf day, or a casual game with friends, Golf Aberdeen can help you plan a day that suits your group.

With four 18-hole courses across Aberdeen, our corporate golf days can be tailored to suit your individual requirements.

Our team can help discuss your preferred course, group size, format, and any specific requirements for your booking.

Golf is a game of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting out, proper golf etiquette helps make the course enjoyable and respectful for everyone.

Arrival

Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time to ensure you are ready to start your round on time.

Slow play

If your group is not keeping up with the pace of play of the group in front, please allow groups behind you to play through at an appropriate time.

Mobile phone use

Although mobile phones are not banned on the course, we do not recommend using your phone while playing as this may cause slow play or distraction.

Maintaining the course

Please replace divots, use soil and seed mixture where provided, rake bunkers after use, and repair pitch marks.

Awareness of others

Do not take a shot if there is a chance you may hit another golfer, member of staff, or member of the public. If your shot looks like it may hit anyone, shout “fore” immediately.

Acceptable behaviour

Abusive language and angry outbursts are not acceptable. Please keep behaviour under control and be considerate of other golfers and staff.
