Snowsports Taster Day
On Saturday the 30th of September, Adventure Aberdeen Snowsports is hosting “The Drop In”, a community hub event to celebrate and promote Snowsports and more in the North East.
Working in partnership with local clubs and organisations we are planning a fantastic day that has something to offer everyone. Whether you’ve never clipped in to a set of skis or you’re a seasoned shredder there will be something for you at the Drop In and we would love you to come along.
Beginner Taster Sessions
For one day only we have created a packed schedule of 45 minute taster sessions in both skiing and snowboarding that are available for only £5.00 with all equipment included! With the winter season just around the corner this is the perfect time to get involved with snowsports so why not give it a try? Spaces are limited so click the button below!
Club Led Open Session
Away from the nursery slopes we are delighted to have the 2 main snowsports clubs in the North East supporting the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills and develop your abilities in a laid back, guided open session. The 2 main slopes will be open for more experienced users from 1030 to 1430 where club members and coaches will be on hand to deliver tips, tricks and guidance on a variety of disciplines across snowsports from racing to freestyle and everything in between.
A great opportunity to connect with clubs and see what pathways and support they can provide as well as a chance to link with other skiers and snowboarders. Pre booking is available below.
The Drop in Jam
Later in the day the 2 main slopes will play host to the “Drop In Jam”, a relaxed and fun competition where riders will have the chance to compete for prizes in both freestyle and time-trial categories. The competition format is relaxed with the emphasis on fun so we hope to see a great session where riders can showcase their skills and challenge themselves in a chilled out environment that goes hand in hand with snowsports culture. With music and food provided on-site this will be great to watch as well as take part in so come along and cheer them along as they fly through the air or scream through the gates.
