Hen & Stag Adventures

Hen & Stag Adventures

Embark on an adventure-filled weekend and give your hen or stag party an experience to remember!

With a variety of different outdoor adventurous activities to participate in, Adventure Speyside is situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park – less than a 2-hour drive from Aberdeen.

Activities include canoeing, gorge walking, abseiling and rock climbing, and hillwalking. Choose from a full-day activity or two half-day activities depending on what your group desires, with all kit and transport included.

Sleeping up to 42 people, the recently renovated centre boasts six dormitories with bunk beds and two rooms with single beds plus ensuite. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, deck area and BBQ as well as drying room and male and female shower blocks.

Activities on offer
Canoeing

Canoeing is a water sport which involves paddling a canoe with a single-bladed paddle. As well as the River Spey, there are plenty of rivers and lochs to be explored whilst staying at Adventure Speyside.

Canoeing in Loch Morlich provides stunning views of the Cairngorms, or perhaps your group will take to conquering the washing machine rapid on the River Spey.

Whatever the requirement, your instructor will set the level of challenge suitable for your group’s needs.

Gorge Walking

Gorge Walking is an activity which involves traversing gorges and the rivers at the bottom of them.

Immerse yourself in the water as you navigate your way up one of our local Speyside gorges and feel the rush of adrenaline as you jump back into the water! Your instructor will guide you up the gorge and set appropriate challenges.

Abseiling and Rock Climbing

Adventure Speyside has a plethora of steep, rugged rocks – providing a variety of exhilarating ascents for rock climbing.

Enjoy the excitement of abseiling afterwards by descending back down a steep slope using ropes.

Hillwalking

There is no better way to soak in the scenery and fantastic views than embarking on a hillwalking adventure.

The Cairngorm mountains offers a huge selection of hill walks. The local Cromdale hills can be accessed directly from Adventure Speyside, but if you are up for an even bigger challenge, then we can take you to Glenmore.

We can also take you to the top of Cairngorm Mountain, Britain’s 6th highest mountain at 1,245m.

Cost

We understand that groups may not want to pay together, so we created a special package that lets you pay individually. Two nights accommodation + two chosen activities is only £180 per person!

We also require a £500 deposit per booking, which will be returned, provided there are no damages or extra cleaning required.

We are happy to tailor your Adventure Speyside trip to ensure it is right for you! Enquire today by emailing adventureaberdeen@sportaberdeen.co.uk or calling 01224 270990.
