With restrictions easing and organised outdoor group exercise permitted, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the Easter holidays and soak up the warmer weather with friends and family!

Adventure Aberdeen will see a range of exciting activities reactivate throughout April, from canoeing and stand up paddleboarding at the city’s historic Rubislaw Quarry to coaststeering and scrambling along the north-east’s vibrant coastline. Adventurous activities are perfect way to kickstart your spring, offering something for the whole family to take-part in.

Canoeing @ Rubislaw Quarry (5 years +)

What better way to spend a nice spring day than on the water? Canoeing offers the perfect opportunity for a family adventure exploring one of Aberdeen’s most iconic sites in a fun and unique way. Canoeing, and stand up paddleboarding, launched last September and this marked the first time that the public have had access to the quarry since it closed in 1969!

Learn to Bike for 3-8 year-olds

Learning to cycle is an invaluable and life-long skill and can help us to maintain an active lifestyle well into adulthood.
