Course Hub FAQ's

We have the following Programmes available for Online Booking for weekly continuous classes!  (payable by monthly direct debit)

Aquatics – Early Years (from birth to 4.5 years), and School Age Beginners (4.5 to 14 years)

Gymnastics – Early Years (from children who are walking up to 5 years)

Tennis – School Age Programmes

Snowsports – All weekly Ski and Snowboard classes

Coached Programmes classes are booked through MySportAberdeen.  If you are booking a class for a Junior Participant, you must have a MySportAberdeen account for the Adult that will pay for the classes (we call this account holder the ‘Primary Payer’).  Any Junior participants will then be set up during the booking process and linked to the Primary Payer account.

Q1. Are you a brand-new customer to Sport Aberdeen, i.e. neither you or any of your children have ever had a membership or been booked into any of our programmes previously.

YES – You can sign up for a MySportAberdeen account HERE.

NO – See below questions/answers.

Q2. Do you have a registered MySportAberdeen account? (You may have this if you have previously held a membership, have booked any classes or have any children within any of our Coached Programmes).

YES – You should already have your login details to access MySportAberdeen.

  • Username: This will be the email address that you registered with.
  • Password: If you’ve forgotten it, you can easily reset it by clicking the “Forgot Password” link. (check your junk mail folder if you don’t receive this)
  • Once logged in, you can go to the Course Hub, where you will be able to view availability and book classes.

  • Please note that MySportAberdeen requires a unique email address for registration. If your email is already associated with another profile, this will prevent you from registering. If this happens, please contact the Coached Programmes Team on the details above.
  • Once logged in, you can go to the Course Hub, where you will be able to view availability and book classes.
Q3. I don’t have a MySportAberdeen account in my name, but one of my children is already a customer or has previously been a customer. How do I register and book?
  • If your child/ren has previously been a customer your email address might already be on our system, which will prevent you from registering a MySportAberdeen
  • Please use our survey HERE to provide us with information for us to help, and we will make the necessary changes and will get in touch. You will then be able to register and book.
Q4. I think my email address is already attached to an account, should I set up a new account with different email address?

To avoid confusion with having duplicate accounts we suggest you get in touch with us so we can remove your email address as required.  We can then advise you with details on how to sign up for MySportAberdeen.  Please call or email us on 01224 047934 / coachedprogrammes@sportaberdeen.co.uk.

Q5. Once I’m registered for MySportAberdeen, how do I book a class?

Once you’ve logged in to MySportAberdeen, you can click the Course Hub button on the main menu.  If your child is linked to your profile, you will see their details, and any classes and/or waiting lists details.  If your child is not yet linked to your account and they are a new customer, you will be guided through adding during the booking process. You can then click ‘Book Classes’ to view availability and book.

Once logged in to MySportAberdeen, you’ll be able to:

  • Book Early Years and School Age Beginner Swimming classes, Early Years Gymnastics classes, as well as Tennis and Snowsports classes.
  • View and manage your profile and memberships
  • See all additional members linked to your account and add new members
  • View options for other bookable activities, sign up for additional memberships etc
Q6. What venues offer the different programmes / activities that can be booked online?
  • Aberdeen Tennis Centre – Aberdeen Tennis Academy classes for Juniors and Adults
  • Aberdeen Snowsports Centre – Ski and Snowboard classes for Juniors and Adults
  • Bridge of Don Pool – Swimming lessons for School Age Children
  • Dyce Swimming Pool – Swimming lessons for Early Years and School Age Children
  • Get active @ Cults – Swimming lessons for School Age Children
  • Get active @ Lochside – Swimming lessons for School Age Children (Sundays only)
  • Get active @ Northfield – Swimming lessons for Early Years and School Age Children
  • Tullos Pool – Swimming lessons for Early Years and School Age Children
  • Get active @ Alex Collie – Early Years Gymnastics classes
  • Get active @ Beacon – Early Years Gymnastics classes

Q7. What can I do if there are no suitable classes available? Can I go on a waiting list?

If we do not have availability for a class that suits you, please complete an application for the relevant programme as below.  You can also keep checking Course Hub as class availability can change frequently and new classes are added.

Q8. How do I book classes that aren’t available for Online booking?

Several of our activities are not available to book online at this present time, but you can complete an application form as below:

Aquatics Application Form – For Adult Swimming Lessons and School Age Non-Beginners

Aquatics ASN Application Form – For children with Additional Support Needs or Disability that would impact their participation in a group class setting.  For further information on these classes please visit HERE.

Gymnastics Application Form – For School Age Gymnastics

Applications for our Learn to Skate Programme are currently closed for new applicants.

Q9. I’m having issues registering for MySportAberdeen. What do I do?

Please email us at coachedprogrammes@sportaberdeen.co.uk or give us a call on 01224 047934, to let us know the issues you are experiencing.  We will be able to make any necessary changes to your / your child’s accounts and will then provide instructions on registering.

Q10. I am unsure of what level of class I should book. How can I find out further information to help?
